Designers Note:

Choose a tote pattern with simple lines.   This technique can also be used on a purchased canvas tote.   Instead of sewing the fabric can   be glued along the seam allowances with and allowed to dry.

Designing the Red Hat fabric:

Cut the fabric in half.   Use one half to practice your designing technique.   When desired pattern is achieved, repeat the pattern onto the second half and use this half as the purse fabric.

Apply hair glaze to chunky stamp.   Stamp onto fabric.   Repeat until fabric is covered with desired pattern.

Spray entire fabric area with Simply Spray - Poppy Red in an even layer.   Allow to dry.   Repeat for darker red if desired.   As the fabric dries you will notice the subtle pattern appear.

Follow instructions on your desired tote pattern.

Sew boa around entire opening perimeter of purse/tote.   Embellish as desired.
